Where Will We Build the Medieval Catholic Village?
The plan is to build a medieval Catholic town in the US. Specific farmland location and property acreage research around the country is still ongoing.
Our Way of Life
Catholics yearn to restore a Christ-centered way of life, rooted in the soil, bound by tradition, and united in community. We long to live in a place that inspires beauty, chivalry, and wonder in a world that suppresses the means for true human connection to nature and communal relationships. The plan is to build a town that upholds this way of life through traditional Catholic values, art, nature, and a strong community that heroically uplifts the human spirit for the glory of God.
Agriculture
Farming and homesteading is essential to the way of life. Catholic families want to grow and eat organic foods without toxic preservatives, pesticides, or any other artificial chemicals detrimental to the natural wellbeing of humans made in the image and likeness of God.
Village Inspiration
The town art, architecture, and urban design will be inspired by the beautiful historic Catholic medieval fairytale villages of Europe; Eugisheim in France, Rothenburg ob der Tauber in Germany, and many other villages especially in Italy.
Architecture
The dream is to establish affordable housing built with traditional styles, strong natural materials, and beautiful quality medieval inspired handmade craftsmanship. Imagine whimsical fairytale cottages, storybook homes, Wattle and daub Tudor houses, and a beautiful town square with mixed used zoning for living, small local businesses, restaurants, and cozy shops! (This is NOT a medieval themepark).

Faith & Tradition
We want to build a Catholic church/chapel in the center of the village in full communion with Rome and the Holy Father Pope Leo XIV that celebrates the Traditional Latin Mass and a reverent Novus Ordo.
With the Catholic Tradition, we strive to inspire the faithful through the reclamation and preservation of the historic Catholic identity through traditions that may not be popular in the US or have remained nearly dormant for the last 100 years. With anything from Saint feast day processions down the streets that only happen in other countries, to the production and use of lesser known valid sacramentals, as well as the singing of forgotten prayerful chants, we want the Faith that has been passed down from generation to generation from centuries ago to centuries to come!
Let’s also build a community that upholds traditional medieval inspired craftsmanship through carpentry, painting, metallurgy, leather working, handmade textiles, etc. This is to fulfill the need for quality handmade goods that support the value of human skilled labor and authentic creative expression, especially in the world full of low quality mass produced products and AI.

Walkability
The plan is to build a walkable human centered community that inspires natural social encounters and wellbeing. The way the streets in European towns naturally weave through beautiful architecture, pathways, and destinations, allowing people to slow down and appreciate the beauty around them is what we desire in our town. This allows for a sense of awe and wonder which most American suburbs and cities lack today in their boring predictable grid urban planning with the constant need for cars and large parking lots.
Businesses
The world is filled with unhealthy mass produced corporate food, fast fashion, and soulless household furniture which is why we want to support and help start small businesses that produce and sell local goods in the town. This could include organic food from local farmers, handmade furniture from local craftsmen, artwork from local artists, local restaurants, etc. We want to support or possibly help open small local shops throughout the village to bring back authentic local commerce!
Utilities
Although the town is medieval inspired, you can expect modern technology such as electricity, plumbing, etc. We will strive to use our own offgrid regenerative energy such as solar power whenever needed in the future.
